Since its introduction at InnoTrans 2010, the Siemens Vectron has become one of Europe's most successful locomotive platforms. More than 750 locomotives have been delivered to over 30 customers in 17 countries, with new variants continuing to enter service across the continent. Thanks to its multi-system capability, the Vectron is ideally suited for international operations. Locomotives operated by SBB Cargo run from Switzerland into the Netherlands, while TX Logistik Vectrons can be found hauling trains between northern Germany and Italy. The Vectron has also become a common sight throughout Eastern Europe and the Balkans. This model features a highly detailed representation of the prototype, intricate digital printing, and an MTC21 decoder interface. Sound-equipped versions include an ESU LokSound decoder. Limited edition.
