The Rm locomotive is a variant of the widely used Rc class. Compared to the standard Rc locomotives, the Rm features different gearing, limiting the top speed to just 100 km/h. The locomotives were also equipped with the automatic couplers used on the Iron Ore Line, along with additional equipment required for hauling heavy ore trains. Originally, the Rm locomotives were intended to replace the Dm3 locomotives on the Iron Ore Line between Narvik and Luleå. However, as they did not perform as expected in this service, production remained limited to only six units. This set from Roco includes Rm 1260 and Rm 1262 in DCC Sound configuration.
