Shortly before Christmas 2012, Siemens delivered the first Vectron locomotive to DB Schenker Rail Polska. Today, the Polish subsidiary of DB Cargo operates a fleet of 25 Vectron electric locomotives, classified as Class 170. L.S. Models now offers another variant of the Vectron. Just like the prototype, this precisely scaled 1/87 model features the correct roof equipment and train protection systems specific to the Polish Class 170 locomotives. The Class 170 model is available in both DC and AC versions, with optional sound. Features include white/red directional lighting, digitally switchable high-beam headlights, cab lighting, and a 21-pin MTC decoder interface.
